Things I Love Thursday

After some very very busy weeks, shooting an event, setting up a shoot for a baby pageant and getting back into the swing of things after a not-long-enough trip to Florida it's great to sit down for a bit and pull together a TILT list. I haven't done one in far too long! 

♥♥Handpicked berries from my neighbors strawberry and blueberry farm. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats local produce or your own homegrown fruits and vegetables!
 ♥ The smell of sun ripened tomatoes in a garden! The lovely leafy, earthy smell is one of my favorites! Tomatoes in general are great too - I especially love them sliced and salted!
♥ Grilled food is some of the best in my opinion, so why not make baked goods on a grill...like these grilled smore brownies?!
♥Paperself eyelashes - I only own the Under The Sea ones and aside from vacation have yet to find a place to wear them but they're whimsical, and fun! They're paper eyelashes cut into shapes such as seahorses, peacock feathers, antlers with butterflies, zebras and more! It sounds kind of out there but check it out!  
 ♥Fractured Prune donuts - a local shop that makes fresh donuts right in front of you and lets you pick different flavored glazes and toppings like key lime - fresh cake donut with lime glaze, coconut and graham crackers on top! Some of my favorites are the strawberry shortcake, peppermint with chocolate chips, blueberry, and I believe black forest with cherry? Warm, fresh and local! 
♥Honing in on my culinary skills. I've been attempting cooking at least once a week - even if its a simple recipe or one I go to often. 
♥DIY anthropologie scarf  - perfect for my love for accesories made from t-shirts! 
♥ Free. Books. Oh wait, you want this to be awesomer? Try free classic AUDIO books!
I love listening to radio shows but I've been trying to find some good audio books to take with me on my long drives and here it is! 
♥Olympic parties with some of the crew from the No Math Allowed podcast ♥ Olympic themed swimming pool cake my husband decorated ♥ Military welcome home ceremonies ♥ Criminal Mind marathoning ♥ Planning future dream trips after my husband playing Uncharted (a PS3 game that follows the path of Sir Francis Drake, various historical myths, exploring lost cities in Nepal, etc).♥ Said trip planning leading to finding present day adventurers! ♥ Dark chocolate covered blueberries ♥♥

Things I Love Thursday: Late Edition

So it's not really Thursday anymore, it's actually Saturday.. but I got interrupted mid-writing on Thursday, saved this post as a draft and didn't get back online until midnight now. Happy weekend, hope your Thursday lists were lovely!

Flying Omoplatas and crazy moves at the gym!

 

A few of us worked on trying this out for fun at the gym. I successfully...landed on my shoulder twice, my butt countless times, probably my head, oh and the move twice. It's lots of fun and I'm determined to get it! 

♥ Greek Yogurt ♥ "Chelsea, stop trying to photobomb the webcam!"- Husband ♥ Cards from my friend studying in England with grey cats in pirate hats ♥ My grey cats! ♥ Ukuleles and ukulele covers ♥ Black and white rose printed scarves ♥ 30  degrees feeling like 90, simply because it's a huge step up from 9 degrees ♥

 

Things I Love Thursday

 

♥ Disney Music! Especially this nice little mix. They really don't make Disney movies like they used to. It instantly brightens my day.


♥ Tart burners and amazing tarts! My co-worker got me this lovely tart burner and some tarts and I've been burning it literally every day to save my candles. He even got one with a little cover so my pets don't try to stick their noses in there. I can change the smells according to mood and it's just the best thing.

♥ New hair color. I tried out a bright red, which I wanted so bad and it was fun but I had a hard time matching it to other things so I dyed it back to black and I'm a lot happier. It's edgy, it's powerful and it compliments everything.

♥ I made a polymer red velvet cake necklace for this sweet barista who's my work-neighbor at Starbucks.  She was thrilled and I LOVE surprising people with little things. I'd only met her a handful of times and she told me she did cake decorating and that red velvet was her favorite. I took pictures but they're camera phone pictures.

♥ Jiu-jitsu. If I could put this on every TiLT list, I would, and might. It's changed my life, and has brought a whole new level to it.

♥ International Delight Coffee Talk 
Sally from Already Pretty does live chats on here as well as great discussions, which is what originally got me interested in the community but I've since found and met many other bloggers with great blogs and amazing people on there! Plus there's a chance to win some of your favorite International Delight creamer!
But really, as a non-morning person, it makes me look forward to getting up.
